I totally despair at the world we live in today....the country that England has become. A country that we were once so proud to live in is a country I cannot wait to leave.
To spend your life making sure that you bring up your children with the morals and principles that we all once believed in made this country a place that so many wanted to live in. To have this thrown back in your face by total scumbags is very hard to take.
When things like this happen to families like the Mizen's, it breaks my heart.
I just want the Mizen family to know that, even though I don't know them personally and didn't know Jimmy, my heart breaks every time that I think of him. I hope that the family can, in their own way, move on from this tradegy and have a life that is not always dominated by sadness and anger.
R.I.P Jimmy Mizen xx

Dear Mr and Mrs Mizen
I am terribly sorry for your loss. By all accounts Jimmy was a much loved and wonderful young person. As a secondary school English teacher, I am devastated every time I hear about a senseless and untimely death of a precious young soul. Thank goodness you have eachother and the love of your family.
Nothing will bring Jimmy back, but his memory will live on.
My deepest condolences to you.
Yours sincerely
Emma

Jimmy, you were the kindest sweetest loveliest person i knew. Every time i looked at you you had a smile on your face. For people to say that you tried to fight Jake and things like that is ridiculous. The majority of stories you read in the paper it does say that like Jimmy, the person was a lovely, kind, sweet person. Nobody ever believes that as they think people always have something to do with it even if its in a tiny way, but when the papers say and people say it, it most probably is actually true. It was true what everyone said about Jimmy, he truely was lovely, he did not have a bad bone in his body. When i look back to the day he died, i think to myself, the way he died was unfair, sad and it should not have happened. However, it made me realise you have to embrace life, we all take life for granted when we shouldnt, Jimmy died knowing he had a loving family and great friends all because he was a good person who enjoyed & embraced his life while he had it. If anything, we owe it to Jimmy to embrace our lives and live the life we know he would have lived. Rest in peace Jim. Love You XxXxXxXxXXxXxX

Dear Mr and Mrs Mizzen
I was deeply moved to read the article you wrote for the Justice and Peace newsletter. I read it aloud to my mother and could not stop the tears. I have so much admiration for the dignified, forgiving and loving way you have reacted to your dear son's death. From all that you write about him, he was clearly a very special boy and you are clearly a very special family. May his memory be a source of inspiration for many other young people.

A lesson of Love, where anger can't go, it can Love.
Human heart is much bigger than sometimes we might think. And Jimmy and Jimmy 's families are teaching us this is deeply true.
May the "gentle giant" enlighten our way in the life.

Dear Mr and Mrs Mizen,
You came to my school today, and you told the story of Jimmy. I was touched by the fact that you were not angry or seeking revenge on the person who took Jimmy away from you. I hope that if I ever lost someone I love just like you that I would have the courage to not be angry and be peaceful. I am a Christian just like you and God has taught us what it means to be forgiving and so have you. Its great to see what everyone has done for Jimmy. It was lovely to see the concert made a success!
Hope that one day everyone finds peace and releses the anger just like you.

Mr and Mrs Mizen, I have only recently heard about the news of your son, I tend not to read papers and news as theres just too much bad things going on in the world, I was shocked and so saddened to here about what happened to your son, at such a young age its a tragic loss, he seemed like a very promising young man who had a great life and enjoyed himself, although he died at such a young age you must take comfort knowing that you had some very wonderful years with him, I have a 10 month old son, and if I lost him I could'nt bare it, my thoughts are with all Jimmys family and friends at this time, and Im almost certain he is looking down watching and protecting those he loved so dearly, x x x x

Jimmy, Your parents recently spoke to us and our group. You have an insirational family, and you, are in an inspiration. You were a guy that I think everyone would get along with. I can't understand why somebody would do something so wrong to you.
RIP Jimmy
Good Lad

To the parents of the late and great Jimmy Mizen.
You are an inspiration to everyone out there. After losing your precious son, you carried on with life and did not let the anger eat you up. Out of such a tradgey you have helped others. He was such a wonderful young man and had the whole of his life ahead of him. I just pray and hope that one day I can help touch the lives of people near and far the way you two wonderful people have.
R.I.P. Jimmy Mizen
You maybe gone but you will never be forgotten.

Jimmy must have been a great intelligent caring boy who touched others lives in an unexpected way. Although we never knew Jimmy we have heard of what a gentle boy he was. We know that wherever Jimmy is he is helping the people around him. He is probably the biggest star there is.

To the Mizen family,
I can't even begin to imagine your pain. I have a 23 year old brother who lives near your area and what happened to Jimmy is my worst nightmare. You have shown such courage and compassion, you are shining examples of humanity. There is come light, some hope for the future.
Best wishes :)
