I haven't cried for years but after reading the tributes left for Jimmy made me cry. As I write this I have tears running down my face. I didn't know Jimmy, and probably would never had, but I wish I had known him. He sounds like he was a lovely guy. It's always the good one's that go first. Turn your head to the sun and your shadows will fall behind you. RIP Jimmy - You're in a better place, believe me.

Jimmy may have died young but with your strength to forgive, you have ensured he will live forever in our hearts.

Thank you for showing us forgivness, even in the darkest of circumstances, is possible in this world.

You said he's a shining star now.. well, may this star light up a thousand lives.

As a family you have all shown so much dignity and so much respect for each other. The fine young man who you said goodbye to today will be looking down with so much love for you. What a wonderful family. If only there were more like this. Find strength in each other, Jimmy will always be there, in your hearts and in your memories won't he?

I've never cried at stories I hear on the news (I guess you get hardened to it), however for some reason this one affected me and made my cry. Jimmy just reminds me of my younger brother who recently moved near London and I do fear for him. Jimmy's family are an inspiration and seem strong and united, we need to show thugs that they can't break us - the good in the world must triumph over the evil. R.I.P. Jimmy, hope the angels look after you well.

Another young life taken for no reason, this violence has to stop these mindless thugs are ruining peoples lives for what purpose, Jimmy was a popular, carefree, gentle young man who was just minding his own business and died all because he died not want to fight. I did not know Jimmy but i bet knowing him enriched everyones lives,
my heart goes out to his family and friends
RIP Jimmy, God bless

Jimmy was one of those guys that never upset anyone, nothing ever got him down. It's been over a month now, and although year 11 have left St Thomas More, each and every one of us misses him. It really makes us appreciate what we do have, and to look after and cherish it no matter what. I'm proud to have known you Jimmy, Sleep tight honey

It brings me to tears to hear about your loss. Jimmy sounds like one of the good guys who would do anything for his friends and family, the one you could always go to in your hour of need. Why do all the good guys die so young? Remember those magical days you spent with him, the smiles you shared remembering that you will see him again and be happy. My thoughts are with you, God Bless xxx
