Dear Barry and Margaret and Family,
We have known Jimmy since he started at St.Winifreds and we are proud that he has been one of Daniel's friends throughout.
He was a lovely boy and as everyone says, always smiling. Jimmy spent his last night at our house celebrating Daniel's 16th birthday (which is 2 days after Jimmy's). I hope he told you that he enjoyed his birthday, and find some comfort that his last night was spent having a great time with over 60 of his school friends.
We will miss him and we will never forget him.xxxx

Jimmy was a lucky lad to have had such wonderful brothers,sister and parents. Please all keep remembering that. He probably had and gave more love in his short life than many people have in a lifetime. You all made him very happy, secure and blessed through your love, faith and the example you set him. I've just seen Jimmy's parents on This Morning, and they are fantastic! They seem to be really focussing on the time they had with Jimmy, instead of dwelling on his tragic loss. It's so easy when you lose someone so special to get caught up in grief, but from what I have read about Jimmy I can tell that's not what he would have wanted. Congratulations to you both, on raising such a lovely boy, and for coping so well with his loss.

I also saw Jimmy's parents on This Morning and I too think there were fantastic. I have striven to be respectful to all people and would love to be involved in a respect initiative, set up by people who care about the society that we live in. I live in a little village in Dorset and we have some wonderful youngsters who care about their village, it is a shame some of the adults don't respect them or other adults around them. I know you are trying to raise money for Jimmy's Bus but if you have a web address that you could gather together like minded people I would love to join you.

i did,nt know jimmy or his family but i don,t think you had to, all you had to do was hear these truly amazing people speak with such courage and dignity after the terrible loss of their son jimmy to know this is a truly special family and when you look at a picture of jimmy you can see the kindness and gentleness shine out ,i have never felt as compelled to write anything in my life as i have this and i do it with tears rolling down my face ,their is alot of talk of makeing the streets a safer place i don,t know if this will happen i hope and pray it does but what i do know for sure is if their was more jimmy mizens in this world and less of the youth,s that think nothing of taking a life the world would be a much better place to live in. We have known Jimmy's family for a number of years through his brother at the rugby club they are one of the best familes I know and it makes me proud the know them for their courage and the way they are speaking about respect for others and making our country a safer place for the young people.
We thank them for this and surpport their actions in the memory of their wounderful son JIMMY.
We will be at the rugby match in september to remember him
I saw the "This Morining" programme and admire you for doing this to make more people aware.

Dear all, I attended Jimmy's funeral and thought I could be of some support; I did not know Jimmy or his family, but wish to convey my love and sincere sympathy. I am a Catholic myself and wish to express that he was a good looking, tall and handsome boy who had a whole life ahead and a future, but sadly had it taken away; if I am right I believe that he was someone who wanted to make peace and try to resolve situations when there was an incident or dispute at the "Three Cooks" which unfortunately costed his life. I sometimes think if I would like to resolve such matters, but if it's serious I'd rather step aside or otherwise I could put myself at risk! This is what happens today! We would all like to help as much as we could, but it is not always easy. I can only pray and that Jimmy is at Gods peace and that his family and friends will find happiness, love and healing from their loss. To pray for his killer is also not easy, but through Christ there is hope and that he will show us the way with a heart to forgive. May my love, condolences and prayers be with the family and friends. God bless you and Jimmy

Barry and Margaret the love you have for each other and GOD your faith and belief not only radiates and engulfs your entire family but it has captured the nations attention. Someone said jimmy the saint.It has to be said that Jimmy's death at such a sweet young age has captured the nations heart and I believe that the love in your hearts has squashed any bitterness you may feel for the loss of your beautiful boy and the love and joy in your hearts shines thru, just as jimmy the brightest star in the sky. Jimmy's name will live on and keep you both strong in faith and belief, GOD will take care of Jimmy and you all, I believe this is only a temporary separation and the day will come when you all meet again and light up the sky.
