Every time I try to leave a message on this website I feel that words aren't enough. I am going to finish this message tonight... Just to let you know that the community are thinking of you all the time. Year 11 has well and truly left St Thomas More now but I know that my son and his friends think of Jimmy and his family a lot. They attended the celebration at Sidcup Rugby Club and were so impressed with Jimmy's brothers and sisters (obviously his mum and dad as well!!!!). I have just read a message my son left below. I didn't know he had done so until tonight. I'm glad he did. You don't need anybody to tell you what a wonderful boy Jimmy was. We met him at our son's 16th and both me and my husband and our friends thought he was a lovely kid, his personality and the ease in which he mixed with the adults there, made him a boy that you would remember.

God bless you all.

Dear Margaret and Barry,

I think of Jimmy everyday and know how much his friends are missing him.

You are in all our prayers.

Jim boy, I will always remember you as a top man. I can't believe I was only chatting to you just a few weeks before the horrific incident about what you had in mind for your bright future. You were always bright in school from what I remembered before I left. I know that you would have made it in any industry. I was so upset when I heard about what happened. I will never forget such a unique, gentle person.

Rest In Peace, Jimmy - My thoughts are always with you and your family.

God Bless, son.

I have been touched by the Mizen family...
I recently attended the New Dawn conference in Walsinham, and found his parents, Margaret and Barry inspiration. The Mizen family are such a great witness to the works of God!!!

When such tragerdy occurs, it amazes me how strong you all are, and that you are there fo each other 100%, from what I've read & heard about Jimmy, he was a loving caring boy, and you can see that from all the family pictures, a trully happy teenager.

My thoughts and prayers are allways with you Jimmy & all your family. x

Words cannot convey the sheer joy Jimmy seemed to bring to this world. If anyone questions a belief in our Heavenly Father they need only look to Jimmy as he was one of God's angels walking among us. It will be an honour and a privilege to attend Jimmy's Sparkle Concert. My thoughts and prayers will forever be with Barry, Margaret and all of Jimmy's family and friends.
God Bless

I felt compelled to stop by and leave a message. Today my 16 yr old son received his GCSE results.I felt so sad and tearful that Jimmy was unable to go with his mates to collect his GCSE results. I am so sorry you and your family have to go through this.

Both my sister and I were in the same year as one of the Mizen boys at St Thomas More and feel devastated by what has happened. My thoughts and prayers are with you every day. In an age where we are told not to photograph, it is beautiful to be given the respect to see your lovely family photos. The tinsel hair is my favourite.

Rest In Peace Jimmy.

I felt I had to leave a message to say how inspiring it is seeing all that the Mizen family and friends have done, and are still doing, to bring some good out of what it is a tragic and heartbreaking situation.

I hope the concert goes well and you raise enough money for the buses. I also hope you find the strength to continue in Jimmy's name, and show the world that for all the hate, there is infinitely more love.

All the best Mizen's and all the best Giant Jimmy!!!

It is a horrific story... As noble as a Jimmy seems to have been, he refused to fight but were attacked anyway.

Jimmy,
As a new school year starts,
It is still to hard to comprehend that you are gone.
We all just long to heard that it was a mistake and you were fine.
However we mustn't question Gods desisions.
But God may choice the best to go to heaven first.

Rest in peace Jimmy :( xx
Also to the Mizen family, you are an amazing family. The world could learn alot from you all. May God stay with you and keep you strong.

Finally i would like to say to the killers family, you are in our prayers aswel. Because in a way you lost your son in and much more sever way.

REST IN PEACE JIMMY MIZEN.

I attended the Sparkle Concert on Saturday and would just like to say what a wonderful event it was. Such a pleasure to come together as a community in memory of Jimmy. If only our youngsters could be in such a warm and safe environment every weekend! The Mizen family are always in our thoughts and prayers and a picture of Jimmy hangs in our home so both Jimmy and the example both he and his beautiful family have set to us all shall never be forgotten.
God bless you always xxx

Was just listening to this..

When you feel so tired but you can't sleep, Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face,
When you lose something you cannot replace..

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And i will try..
to fix you.

Prayers of love for the whole family, that you would find refuge in our God as his light would guide you home, just as Jimmy sparkles by his side in heaven.xx

More than happy to give to a fine cause. I have no connection with Jimmy or the Mizen family other than living not too far away from their neck of the woods, but the photos and stories on this site and elsewhere show nothing more than a nice ordinary kid with his head screwed on right and a world that's cheated us of his continued presence. What could be a better reason to donate?

Oh Jim, still can't believe your gone....we will always love and miss you so much....every time I read about you in the newspapers or on-line it always seems so surreal, like its happening somewhere else...then we realise that it is you...that sweet loving little boy that used to come and play at our house and never did any bad or harm to anyone...who was always so cheerful and full of life...your dazzling smile and good nature always made you a pleasure to be with...We've read so many messages from your friend and people who didn't know you and it makes us feel very blessed that we knew you...We do talk about you a lot at our house, especially when Adam and Rhiannon are here and we have a lot of very good memories of you...
Rest in peace Jim
